ZIPS Car Wash Unveils Renovations in Fuquay Varina with FREE Wash Day

Fuquay Varina– (August 25, 2025) –ZIPS Car Wash is celebrating upgrades to the interior and exterior of its 7510 Purfoy Road location with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony Tuesday, August 26h alongside the Fuquay Varina Chamber of Commerce. ZIPS is offering Free Car Washes all day Tuesday at this location, along with free air fresheners, a complimentary Tom’s Coffee Truck from 11am – 1pm and Holy Fries will be on site for customers to grab lunch and support another local business.

Pete Nani, CEO of ZIPS Car Wash, noted the longstanding support of the Fuquay Varina community for ZIPS and expressed pride in giving back through a complimentary wash day. In addition, he highlighted the recognition of a local military family with an academic scholarship as part of their ongoing commitment to the community.

ZIPS is proud to support military and first responder families at updated locations across the country in 2025 alongside its national partnership with Folds of Honor. In 2024, ZIPS and its loyal customers donated over $92,000 to Folds of Honor to drive academic success for military and first responder families and the brand believes it will reach a $100,000 donation in 2025.

ZIPS will recognize Avery Sullivan with a $500 Scholarship at the ceremony this week. Avery, of Sanford, NC, is a Junior at North Carolina State University majoring in Animal Science.

Avery is working toward a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Her father, Sgt. First Class Thomas Joseph Sullivan gave 19 years to the U.S. Army and served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. ZIPS Car Wash extends their gratitude to the Sullivan family and all U.S. Veterans and active military for their service to our country and sacrifice for our freedom.
